Death by Curlique
Name of Maker: Lauri Drean
Death by Curlique - I bought a pack of fat quarters of Lakehouse fabric and my daughter fell in love w/them. I quilted a "Spring Fever" quilt for a customer and decided this was the perfect pattern for my fat quarters. I had to add some hand dyed fats and a few others from my stash. On a whim I entered it into the Theme category of the 2007 Home Machine Quilter's Show and it won 3rd place.

Amish Wedding Baskets
Name of Maker: Lauri Drean
Amish Wedding Baskets - I designed this quilt from a standard Basket pattern on EQ6 for my Niece's wedding. I adore the Amish style quilts and had never made one. I had a month to get this made for the wedding and I enlisted the help of my two daughters to help sew the 300 - 1/2 square triangles. I used the Nifty Notions rulers and it was a snap and no squaring up needed!! We got it pieced in record time and I quilted it non-stop in 3 days. I used Superior Highlights, MasterPiece, and Bottom Line to complete this quilt. They loved it.

Midnight Star
Name of Maker: Kim Majczan
Midnight Star - I took a class at my local quilt store and this quilt was the result. I love the way it turned out. I don't use black very often so this was a real switch for me. The quilt itself was very easy to do. It was one of those stack and whack quilts!!
Caitie's Graduation Quilt
Name of Maker: Kim Majczan
Caitie's Graduation Quilt - I designed this quilt for Caitie's high school graduation on EQ5. She went with me to the quilt store to select the fabric. It didn't take long to piece and I machine quilted it in an all-over stars and loops while I still had my long arm. I have since sold it.
Memories of the Caribbean
Name of Maker: Jeanette Dean
Memories of the Caribbean - The bird square in the center is an original design by my daughter-in-law, Laura Dean. The pieced top still needs to be machine quilted. This quilt will be the focal point of my guest room (which is still a work in progress).
Allison and Michael's Wedding Quilt
Name of Maker: Kim Majczan
Allison and Michael's Wedding Quilt - I adapted this pattern from the book, Quick and Easy Quiltmaking. I let Allison and Michael look thru all my books and they did and decided on Water Music as a pattern for their wedding quilt. I didn't let them see the fabric however or the quilt until after they got home from their honeymoon. I think they were pleased.
Cayden's Baby Quilt
Name of Maker: Elaine Spry
Cayden's Baby Quilt - I made this quilt for Cayden, our first great-grandson. The teddy bear fabric was a remnant from a quilt I made for Cayden's mom (our granddaughter) when she was a baby.
Stars for Claire
Name of Maker: quilter2964
Stars for Claire - My orig. design was inappropriately copied by someone who had access to my quilt. Had to resort to legal channels to make the person stop selling their pattern of it! A lesson learned about some people’s lack of ethics and about copyright law! This was a gift to my DD for her 3rd birthday and her first big girl bed.
Emma's Quillow Top
Name of Maker: Amy K. Cohn
Emma's Quillow Top - This is the pillow top for a quillow I made for my niece. She asked for a gold palm tree, as she's from the windy city and loves visiting her Fla family.
