Name of Maker: Kay Vail
Unnamed - Talented Quilt Artist Elena Marin from Oxford, NY, taught a class using her award winning aquatic quilt as the "idea starter." Elena drew the templates for a fish, and two of the plants in the quilt. She exhibited several of her creations to help students understand her techniques and apply them to this quilt. It was a privilege to be her student.

Unnamed - This quilt was created as the result of a class and used to learn various styles of applique. The pattern was purchased and the teacher of the class enlarged the pattern for each square from pillow size to quilt size. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of the pattern or its creator. It is one of my favorite quilts. It was a stride forward for me in free motion/echo quilting and applique.
