the christmas star - I purchased this pattern at a show, and did try to follow instructions but found them hard. So i went my own way and think it turned out ok
Spirit Dance I - One of a series of small art quilts made in 2004. Commercial batik and hand-dyed fabrics, machine quilted and embroidered with metallic and rayon threads.
Skyview II: Crop Circles - I travel frequently and love watching the topography change. The crop circles are made by irrigation, not the mysterious ones favored by the SciFi channel!
Fibonacci Windows - A wall hanging based on Distorted Cathedral Window as demonstrated in Lynne Edwards book combined with Fibonnacci's formula, inspired by the colours seen in a watercolour of Iris's. Textured inserts inside the "windows".
Four Hearts - I wanted to create a 4-panel quilt with the common heart motif but sort of in the style of Andy Warhol so I used a pair of complementary colors for each panel and then tried to unify it by using the red of the upper left heart for the sashing and the binding.
