Fall Rhapsody - I wanted to try Ricki Tim's technique for conversion quilt and thougth I would add applique and name as a gift for my dog sitter, Nita Delgado. Her dachshund, Penny is pictured on the quilt.

Pokanik Convergence - This is my son David's 'going away to college' quilt. I figure I am ahead of the game because he is only a junior in college! Pokonik means 'until (we meet again)' in Russian. It is a true Fibonacci sequence in the light sections.

Just a Panel - I bought this panel that was suppose to be a small wall hanging. I then proceeded to cut it up and add borders. It turned out absolutely beautifully.

Kathy Heystee - I used the Bento Box pattern and then designed my own borders. The quilt is done in asia themed prints. The borders have words in Chinese using red embroidery floss. The quilt is quilted with red thread and the Chinese words are interpretted in English in the quilting. I was very excited that one of my Chinese friends could actually read the words I had in embroidery.

Sweetwater Sampler - These blocks came from the 1st East Tennessee Shop Hop. I picked out the fabric colors for a local quilt shop and made the sample. There were 20 kits sold.

30s Saturday Sampler - This quilt was a Saturday Sampler. I created the setting, super simple because I knew that I wanted to scallop the border, talk about fun, I love it.
Miss Teruya's Bears

Miss Teruya's Bears - The bear is the school mascot at my granddaughter's elementary school. Her kindergarten class colored the "bear" drawings I provided on fabric squares. I pieced and machine quilted it using the school color and mascot. The quilt will be hung in the classroom and later sold at silent auction as a fundraiser.

The Twins - These are a pair of quilts that I purchased at my friend's shop - Donna Bacon in Kennett Square, PA. I love these quilts -- I call them the twins. The quilting is superb! The butterflies are hand appliqued with hand satin stitching.
