Katelyn's Electric Butterfly Garden - My rhapsody quilt made for my preteen daughter Katelyn. This quilt was started with Ricky's online instruction and completed with the help of his Rhapsody book and Grand Finale DVD. Thanks Ricky! Butterfly and flower details were done by applying beads and crystals by hand. This definitely won't be my last rhapsody quilt!

Peace - The upper rectangles represent the ancient Chinese peace from the "I Ching". Symbol in circle is the modern character.

Birdhouse Wall hanging - This is from my Birdhouse faze.

Caitlin's Cat Quilt - Based on the Ohio Star. Fussy cut cat faces are centered in the blocks and in the sashing.

French Providence - Made during a quilt retreat taught by the Quilt Connection in Russell KY. Long arm quilted by Phyllis Handley of "Quilts by Phyllis" in Hurricane WV.

Coffee Lover - Saw a tea cup wall hanging in Amish Country. I love coffee and thought it'd be cute to remove the saucers and make my wallhanging of coffee cups. The four corners are photo copied pictures of my favorite coffees.

Fans - This was one of eight quilts I and two friends made for an eight-bed AIDS hospice here in Houston back in 2001. Defintely one of my proudest quilting moments. In fact, we are doing it again this year! (2008)

Strips & Tulips - Louisa L. Smith's book A New Twist on Strips 'n Curves was so much fun to see how the fabric would burst forth from the strips.

Titania - A Bodice - My inspiration was "A Midsummer's Night Dream", The character of Titania, Queen of the Faires, I wanted the bodice to glow with the warmth and the colours of a Midsummer night in the forest. (Rear View) Front view in personal photos.

All American - Made for Niece's husband who is former military man with a love of eagles. Eagles were machine embroidered. White area includes embroidered stars. Border and center of star blocks were free motion quilted in star pattern. Hope he likes it!
