Tropical Currents & Critters - Made for our guild Challenge in 2007. Rules were to use only batiks on the front of the quilt and to draw 3 crayons from a bag...those colors had to be used plus any other colors we liked to add.

Arkansas Snowball - Started years ago. This is my first attempt at hand-quilting a large size quilt. Wreaths fill the snowball. Nine-patch squares were quilted 1/4" from seam. Green border has a pumpkin-seed design; dark border has feathers; red outside border is done in cross-hatch.

Scarecrows & Pumpkins - This quilt was made with blocks from a block swap on a quilting forum, which included blocks of my own.

Challenge Puse - Guild Challenge - It's in the bag. Lots of beautiful bags and unusual. This bag was always a problem for me. 1 step forward and 2 or 3 back. It was a learning process of what not to do. By the end, I was so tired of the purse I was just happy to have it done. Then it won 2nd place in our Guild quilt show. I guess it's looking better now.

"love grows best..." - I died the muslin fabric in tea to make it look more antique.

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall - I used another window that I found and used it for the frame. It's the wall hanging above my sewing table in my office.

Harvest Time

Bedroom wall hanging - I used a old window pane that I found in one of the out buildings for the frame.

Denim Quilt

Star way to Heaven - I wanted to make a lone star using the half square triangle method. I am also in the process of making a traditional lone star using the 45 degree triangles. I did an all over stippling and wave quilting design. I used reproduction fabrics with one of the designs from the Moda Chocolat range as the background.

High Tea - Marjory designed and made this quilt for her granddaughter, Jessica. This quilt celebrates Marjory's love of dolls and china.

Jane's Quilt - This is a quilt i made for Jane's special birthday. I made it a garden quilt as she designs, amongst other things, gardens. It' lots of different floral and green fabrics.

Pink & Green Star Medallion - I found some really wonderful heavy cotton flannel and thought I would try my hand at designing a large star medallion quilt. One of my choir members saw it and fell in love with it. I was very pleased with the overall outcome.

Basket of Roses 2007 - Applique of a basket of roses in a Christmas basket with gold ornaments, ribbons, and holly

Christmas Wreath 2007 - Based on 2 fabric Watercolor Quilts, the design is composed of 2" blocks. The wreath shape is achieved by fussy cuts of the floral applied to the background square.

Noel - This was a paper pieced pattern by Jacqueline de Jonge. It was a challenge but well worth the effort. I have two more of her patterns and can't wait to get started on them.
