Positive and Negative - Every morning I hike in a beautiful forest of Madrone trees. I love the way the light creatives positive and negative spaces. The photo is actually 2 small quilts.
Graditude - After making several small fused quilts with Sue Benner , I made more and more. I cut them all up, reassembled and stamped names of great teachers I have worked with. Gratitude!
Hats and Mittens - This quilt is an adaptation of my original design and was published in Quiltmaker magazine Nov/Dec 2008 issue. It is paper-pieced and very easy to do.

Jinny's Garden - Made with Jinny Beyer's palette of 150 fabrics. The hardest part was separating the fabrics by value and deciding which 6 to use in each block. I didn't know Jinny was a gardener when I named this quilt.
Rainbows - I gathered fabric over about 6 months, then looked at it for a year. Finally I dove in, It has 15 colors and 2 extra runs, The top queen sized. I showed an acquaintance and she has offer to let me use her long arm to quilt this after the first of the year.
kaylee grace's birth quilt - kaylee grace is our second grand-treasure. she was born in august 2008. it is pieced from pink, yellow, and blue gingham. the embroidery is from the anita-gooddesign vintage baby collection. the quilting is in the ditch as i felt there should be no competition with the embroidery.
Natures Best with Softness - This quilt was made for my granddaughter who wanted one like her cousin's. This fit my granddaughter's personality with the softness of the blues and lavenders which matched her room. I sewed each butterfly on to make it a soft edge applique. Butterflies are quilted into the border and fireflies are quilted throughout.
Jesse's Army Service Memory Quilt - Machine pieced and hand tied quilt using my son's Army uniforms. Insignia from his uniforms is worked into patches in the middle. Backed with tan flannel. Size listed is approximate. Made as a memory quilt for him.
my first Crazy Quilt - I saw Judith Montano demonstrate how to create a CQ block, and decided to try the technique and make a potholder. This is the potholder! I was hooked on CQs and the potholder grew into this.
Jelly Bargelly - After coming home from the nursing home, my mother sewed all the strips of strata together for me to give her something to do. I then cut them and pieced them together then quilted it. It's probably the last thing we'll collaborate on as she's 88 years young and has cataracts. It's a treasure to me though - even with it's flaws.
Fall Harvest - This is a raffle quilt I made for our church Fall Festival. The first harvest from our church farm was celebrated along with friendship and fellowship.
Miranda's Wedding quilt with Mom & Dad posing! - Signature quilt for my Daughter Miranda. The blocks were partially assembled and then signed by family and friends at her bridal shower and also her bee group. It was a mad dash to finish the top, quilted by my Long Arm Quilter - Diane Trottier and then hung in time for the wedding reception for all to see.
Quilt was designed by family and friends, assembled by her mom and then quilted by a bee member.
Quilt for Sydney - I wanted a fairly simple yet pretty quilt design for this quilt. I added some blocks (interspersed throughout the quilt) that I had fussy cut from a panel I had that just so happened to have same colors as I was using in the quilt.
A Jazzy Collage - I quilted a pillow for my veterinarian who's dog jazzy had passed away. The pillow has pictures of Jazzy taken by Dr. Dan Kirby and he was not aware of the pillow until I presented it to him at his office.
