Watson Coat of Arms - Closely replicated from the design for the Watson Family Coat of Arms. The base material is a very heavy grade white poly-silk fabric with crossing heavy weight blue duck cloth to achieve proper hanging weight for the piece. The birds and crescents are made of felt and attached by handwork.

Carousel: Celebrating the Twins - These two quilts were made for a friend's new born twin granddaughters. The redwork blocks are of animals on a carousel.

International Dolls - 12 redwork blocks of international people/dolls from collection of free clip art/coloring pages. Border is red and white court house steps blocks.

A Day In The Life Of Santa Claus - 12 Redwork blocks depicting A Day In The Life of Santa Claus...from Santa checking his list, delivering presents, eating a late night snack to falling asleep. Reversible.

Stockings Hung By The Chimney With Care - 20 embroidered blocks of filled Christmas Stockings. Hand quilted 'bricks' is background of each block. Border is machine quilted. Size: 61" X 73". Reversible. Images collected from free Internet coloring pages and clip art.

Sunflowers - 100 inches square, sunflowers are over 7 feet tall. This quilt is now completed, it even has chickens pecking around at the bottom in tall grasses. blossoms - This pattern was designed by us for use in a workshop given by us on the starch method of applique`and for a workshop given by us on how to quilt on and around applique wit a longarm quilting machine.

In My Garden - This is a hand appliqued quilt. I did change the fabrics choices and added two additional borders. I haven't had an opportunity to quilt it as of date, as our quilting business is very busy.

Star Light Star Bright - My nephew want a quilt, he picked the fabric and patter, this was the result. I never dreamed I would win a ribbon but I did 3rd place in the Annapolis Quilt Guild annual quilts show

Phoenix Rising - Made as a birthday gift for my grandson Scott's 13th birthday. He loves anything to do with dragons, fantasy, etc. It was fun to quilt on my handiquilter. I did some free-motion embroidery around the wings and tail to give them a feathery appearance.

Jim's OSU Quilt - This Ohio State University quilt consists of a central bandana around which are Ohio stars and rectangles in which I quilted the Ohio script. The border consists of various colored strips sewn together and cut in triangles and placed on either side of the quilt.

Through Raindrops - Our local quilt shop offered classes featuring Roberta Horton's Amish Adventure. This was the result of using her brick pattern

Where Skies Are Always Blue - This quilt represents our time spent in Missoula, Montana. Made in this color range to fit recipient's livingroom color scheme. Now has been returned to designer.

Poppy Garden - I found this quilt kit on the way to Paducah last year. Love poppies so I figured it was meant to be. It was complete and only one piece was cut out. I decided to quilt it by hand in red thread.

Baliwood Squares - Only a few batiks here but still has that "island" flavor (to me anyway), thus the name.

Beat Army! - One of my favorite events in December (starting during my college years) is the annual Army Navy Football Game. The first game occurred in 1890, with Navy winning 24 - 0. With all the demands as a Midshipman (I am a USNA Class of 1990 graduate), there is nothing better than the competition with Army on the gridiron! One of the most meaningful parts of the event is knowing that although we are competitors during this game, shortly after, we will defend our Country as teammates. This quilt is a photo transfer of a Army Navy program from 1936 (long before women could be midshipmen). The back of the quilt (pics in my profile) include a copy of a game ticket from 1936 and a pic of me during my midshipman days. These games are always a FAVORITE part of December for me!
