My First - This was my first quilt. I took a class at a local quilt shop. I used the feather stitch to quilt it in the ditch. My cats, Bonnie and Clyde, have inspected the quilt and given their approval. :)

Carla's Rose Triple Irish Chain - I love the fabrics used in this quilt. I made it for my sister and it is one of my favorites.

Brayden's Kitten Quilt - This was made for my best friend's daughter when she had her first child. The quilting was done while button-hole stitching the applique pieces on and doing some zigzag stitches to make the "grass".

Cruiser Strippy Quilt - Our guild donates quilts for the local police to carry in their cruisers. These quilts are given to children during stressful times (fire, domestic violence, etc.) I made this quilt to be donated to this cause.

Minnesota Hot Dish - One of the first quilts that I pieced. It took several years before I was brave enough to try quilting it.

Flutterbye Beauties - I just had to play with Jane's pattern for butterflies. They are fused applique and embellished with crystals and paint

Stash Buster - I made this lap quilt for myself, the blocks are 1/3 of the original size, and it was made entirely from material from my stash,mainly batiks.

AFRIKA - This quilt includes an appliqued lady from a class by Neela Shah and crochet beading taught by Charu Patel. Both ladies came to teach from Africa.

African Working Women - This quilt was fun to make. I The embellishments came from Africa with Bev/

Center close-up - This is a close-up of the center of McMorris Wedding Quilt. The butterflies were cut from an asian fabric and trapunto was used to accent them. My daughter had butterflies as a theme for her wedding.

McMorris Wedding Quilt - This is a wedding quilt for my daughter. It took me 1 1/2 years to make!

Holly's memory quilt - After her husband died I made this quilt from several of his shirts for Holly. I used the leftovers to make a quick one for their son.

For Patrick - Quick lapquilt made from his father's shirts and backed with flannel.

Emma's Joy - This is a baby-gift for my friend Kim. When my son was born, Kim made him the most beautiful hand-knit sweater and hat! So, I wanted to make a hand-made gift... I'm really happy with how this pillow turned out.... it was a lesson in "happy accidents" too.... that 3-d center pinwheel "patch" is covering a mistake... I was working on putting an ornate "E" in the center, but had problems.... I kind of love this solution....

My son - This is a postcard of my son's laughing eyes! It always bring me joy to see him smiling at me from my design wall.

Pursuit of Happiness - This was my final project for a class I took at Quilt University taught by Myrna Giesbrecht. They no longer have this class so I feel fortunate to have taken it when I did. It was a class called Points and Curves. I had been trying to learn this on my own but she helped me take it to a new level.
