1st Obama QUILT
Name of Maker: Li Hertzi
1st Obama QUILT - This is my first quilt and is quite small, perhaps a quilt for a kitten, a kitten who is ok with a stiff quilt.
Toby's Little Dance
Name of Maker: Momof2
Toby's Little Dance - I adapted Sharon's pattern to show the little dance my DH Welsh Terrier used to do whenever his feet met grass. He passed away three months before I made this quilt, and thought my DH would really like this. I attached Toby's old tags to the quilt, and now this hangs in our family room.
Secret Garden
Name of Maker: Cindy Bartosewcz
Secret Garden - I never knew day to day what would end up in this quilt. It was a joy to make and taught me many new things, including the 'what not to do's'. I am looking forward to making another Rapsody Quilt.
Welcome Home

Welcome Home - I made this patriotic quilt as a thank you to a soldier returning from Iraq.
Brad & Pens Wedding Quilt
Name of Maker: Barb Nankivell

Sunshine Quilt
Name of Maker: Barb Nankivell
Sunshine Quilt - I wanted something that was sunny and bright in our new winter home. I found this pattern in a magazine and liked it. I made the top while in Texas that winter and when I went back to Minnesota in the spring I went to my local long-arm quilt shop and rented time on the machine and topstitched my own top. It is done in sunbursts.
Cactus Flowers
Name of Maker: Momof2
Cactus Flowers - When blooming the cacti flowers are beautiful. This little quilt is exactly what I needed for a niche in a downstairs bathroom. The middle cactus was freemotion without a BSR, and the rest I finished on my BSR. Lots of thread breaks later I finished the quilting.
Teapots
Name of Maker: Momof2
Teapots - the teapots in this quilt were 30's and floral prints which I bought just for this quilt. I learned how to do the scallops on the shades at the AQS show in Paducah where I took a class with Betty Alderman. I really enjoyed making this quilt, and it hung in my kitchen in Wesmont, IL until we moved to Chandler, AZ. It didn't fit into a southwestern home, so it now sits rolled in a closet waiting for a wall to call home.
Buttons and Boughs
Name of Maker: Momof2
Buttons and Boughs - This was an Artista club project to teach us how to re-hoop. The buttons are from the Just Another Button Company, and are extremely adorable. The fabric for the border was in my stash, and matched perfectly.
