Rainbow Wrap
Name of Maker: kmclaugh

Sweet Dreams
Name of Maker: Kathy Samson
Sweet Dreams - My very first trapunto quilt. I used a thin purple embroidery thread for my feathers and butterflies and I liked how it high lights all the trapunto work. This quilt was a really fun quilt to work on and I was really surprized at the end result I learnt that it is possiable to achieve dreams through quilting! Many Sweet Dreams to follow my friend.
Dreaming
Name of Maker: Kathleen Burns
Dreaming - Based on a photo taken on a beach in Maine early in the morning
Name of Maker: Jeanne Hall
"H" is for Hattie - This was the pick of my daughter-in-law and son for their first daughter, Hattie Marie. She is my first grandaughter and both grandmothers were there to welcome her into the world. It was just beautiful and something I will treasure forever. My son is in the Marines so they move around often. The fabric (Moda Three Sisters) was picked by my daughter, daughter-in-law and I while we visited them in SanDiego. At that time they were not even expecting a baby. I held onto the fabric and low and behold within a year they were expecting a daughter. I made a crib sheet and a dustruffle to match....life is good!
Butchy Boy
Name of Maker: Jeannette Larson
Butchy Boy - I gave this cat the name "Butch" because he was the runt of the family, and wanted him to go forth with confidence. He grew up with my daughter and was a beloved member of our family for 17 years. My daughter took a B&W photo of Butch on her quilt, and I adapted it to a quilt.
Rhapsody in the Garden
Name of Maker: Jeannette Larson
Rhapsody in the Garden - I just couldn't wait any longer for the classes to resume on The Quilt Show, so I bought Ricky's book and finally finished my quilt. Some of the bugs in this Rhapsody Garden are from Suzanne Marshall's book, "Take Away Applique". This was a fun process, from designing the "skeleton" to finally sewing it all together.
The artists palette
Name of Maker: Nanette Herbst
The artists palette - I have made this quilt for my youngest daughter as a high school graduation gift. She picked out this pattern when she was young to make but never did. She is planning on going to a fine arts college so I thought this was an appropriate quilt to make for her to take. Still have to come up with an idea on how to quilt it.
Japan 64
