Wedding Quilt
Name of Maker: LauraBC
Wedding Quilt - I made this quilt for my daughter out of the fabrics used in her wedding. I substituted white cotton with a small white print on it for the white satin of her gown which I also made. The black is for the black tuxes, the grey satin is the coordinating color the groomsmen wore and the red for the bridesmaids. She also loves daises which is the pattern I used for embroidering the flowers. Unfortunately, the red fabric ran into the white the first time she washed it, but it is a well loved and well worn quilt. This was the first large quilt I had made. Before that I had only made baby rag quilts.
AZ Remembered
Name of Maker: Jacquelyn Morris-Smith
AZ Remembered - I took a Stack-n-Whack class. This is the result. I love the technique and can't wait to try a different patten in the book. The fabric and colors are southwest. The colors are so dramatic and bright. This quilt is living on my quest bed. The back of this quilt is pieced as well, simply because I had enough fabric left over. I cannot add a picture of the back of the quilt in this description. But it is nice to have a reversible quilt.

Michael's Monster Quilt
Name of Maker: Linda Chandler
Michael's Monster Quilt - This was a block-of-the-month quilt that I purchased around 2002 when Michael was very small. He finally got it for Christmas in 2008. The most difficult part of the quilt was making the lettering of the poem that went around the outside borders. It was done "Tsukineko Fabrico" fabric pens. The applique was fun because every block was different.
