Gateway to Mongolia-Olzii - The Olzii symbol depicted is very popular in Mongolia, representing prosperity and longevity. This quilt pattern was developed by Maggie Ball for the purpose of teaching impoverished Mongolian women the skill of quilting to help them earn a living.

Fat Tuesday - My mind was reeling with new ideas and techniques when I returned home from the Livermore Ricky Tims Super Seminar, and I jumped into this as soon as I got home. I used a Ricky Tims applique technique in the corners and my husband designed the center applique using the City of New Orleans logo design. The theme of the quilt show was "Mardi Gras in the Foothills", so it HAD to be named "Fat Tuesday"!

Crazy patchwork - This quilt i made for hubby as he felt left out as every one else were getting a quilt and he did'nt. John picked the colours for his quilt and as you can see it has pink in it as my man loves pink.

Got the Blues - Picked this to be the quilt I would work on during my mothers last year with metastatic lung cancer. Got the blues.

Cat Lady - A Self Portrait - One of my quilt guilds asked members to make a small self portrait. This was a lot of fun to make. Mine was the craziest one of all.

Morning Glory - I changed the size of this quilt to suit my needs. I enjoyed making this quilt very much. It was a wedding present for my husbands nephew Jason and Bronia Oshinowo. I added two pillow shams to go with it from the remaining blocks. To make the half square triangles I used wondercut ruler. All the fabric was from my stash.

Quilter's Garden - I puchased this kit back in 2002. I loved the fabric and the design. I worked on it in bits & pieces since then. It is finally finished.
