Emily's Navy - My son graduated in 2008 from the US Naval Academy. Besides his roommates, some of his closest friends were four female Midshipmen. Three we called "the triplets", because they hung out together all the time. Emily was in a different company but always around. Rachel's Mom designed these quilts with specific events documented for each female Mid. She found someone in Ohio to make them for her. They were awesome!

Stars of love - This is my strip quilt from the round robin project. My theme was stars and I gave them turquoise and purple and white material. This quilt is for my Healing table for when I treat clients with Reiki, a hands on energy healing.

Becky's strip - Becky was in our mini group strip quilt round robin, Her theme was The Great Outdoors. This is a view of the mountains and what you might see when you look across.

Sam's strip - Our mini group decided to try a round robin using strips. we each had a theme and provided our own fabric. Sam's theme was Friends, animals, and tea. Since I was doing the last strip, I realized no one had quilting things, so I added a shopping bag and quilted cat.

First Magic - 3-D Accordion-folded quilt depicting Genesis 1:1-3, the creation of the Sun!

Where To From Here? - I created this quilt to enter the "$100,000 Quilt Challenge". Much to my surprise, they actually called and requested it to be sent in for judging. Although I didn't make it to the magazine (now defunct), I was thrilled to say the least at being in such good company. My husband takes the credit as he purchased the fabric for me for a Christmas gift! I sold it only two weeks after putting it up for sale. I was sad to see it go, but happy at the elderly couple's delight in purchasing it!

MY FIRST KALEIDOSCOPE - This is my first kaleidoscope attempt after purchasing the instructional dvd, "Kool Kaleidoscopes" by Ricky Tims. It was fun and not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. It really is "kool"!

New York Beauty Unraveled - Created for a challenge on Yahoo, to take an established quilt pattern and make it a new way, this wall quilt is based on the New York Beauty. In the stars are the words outlining what is unraveling our country country...child abuse, identity theft, wall street bailouts, corporate greed, lay offs, unemployment, elder neglect....etc

Quilted Black & White Cat Picture - Based on simple black & white cat design.

Scrappy for Misty - this was made as a gift to Misty's parents on their anniversary. The photo in the center is of their wedding day. I repaired and made the photo look antique.

Becky's Quilt - The clothing belonged to a classic car restorer. The top contains clothing with paint, welding holes, etc. The backing is from jeans.

Asternoon Delight - Asternoon Delight (2009). Alternately it is called Alight Lunch or Kiss my Aster. I took a photo and then used Photoshop to stylize it. It was then printed full size (44" x 36") on my Epson 11880, then stitched/quilted with a variety of colors of thread.

Enchanted Star - Designed by Myrna Quale and Laura Glueckert, owners of The Enchanted Room Quilt shop in Glendive, MT. Published in Better Homes and Gardens The Best of Quilt Sampler. This was my very first totally finished quilt and it will always be my own personal quilt.
