Milly in the Garden of My Friends - This quilt was made from a picture of my Daughter from her first ballet recital. I also used pictures of flowers from my friends' gardens.

Ain't No Stack and Whack - The stars are fussy cut and Ms Buchanan quilted a little at a time because it hurt her eyes

Emma's graduation quilt - Made for my niece's high school graduation from Amy Butler fabrics. We had see a similar one at Cabbage Rose in Fort Worth, and she fell in love with it.

Americana - Sampler quilt designed for a class and the 400th birthday of Jamestown

A Quilters Journey - This quilt kit included the pattern and the fabric. I made it my goal to match every seam and have perfect points. The blocks were both pieced and paper pieced.

I Love Music - This quilt was made for the college age daughter of a co-worker. It was recently on display at my quilt guild show "The Festival of Quilts" in Mobile, Alabama. The nice young ladies in front of the quilt are part of the "Azalea Trail Maids." Perhaps you saw them recently at President Obama's Inaugural Parade?

Lone Star Log Cabin

Cute As A Bug - Peach "Cuddlecloth" squares (one side satin, other flannel) alternated with large sunflowers and leaves appliqued. Embellished with machine embroidered bugs and words.

Wilderness Sampler - Moose, Bear, and cabin appliques on landscape blocks with saching between. Embroidered pinecones added.

Croydon's Alphabet Quilt - Machine embroidered alphabet characters on white, stripped together with tone-on-tone bright reds, blues, greens, yellows for sashing between blocks. Then pekoes/prairie points added on top of final border.

Cosmic Rhapsody

Cosmic Rhapsody - Based on Karen Stone paper pieced star pattern; applique design using Ricky's Rhapsody techniques. Commercial fabrics in star and pieced border; Ricky's hand-dyes for applique and outer border.

Explosion - Saw Ricky demo how to make a Kaleidoscope quilt and ordered his video. Excellent video...easy to follow directions. I am looking forward to someday taking a class with Ricky.

Halloween Crazy Quilt - My 1st crazy quilt. I love making holiday quilts for my kids. I just used all of my Halloween fabrics and assembled them on 12" squared muslin.

Christmas Tree Baby Quilt - Pieced in horizontal rows to form a tree. Made for my 2nd child while I was pregnant.

Smart Baby Log Cabin - I made this while pregnant with my 2nd child. It is based on the "smart baby" toys: black, white, and red patterns.

Shanti's Wedding Quilt - My friends and I take a mystery class quarterly at Memories By the Yard in San Antonio, Texas. We were instructed to bring a jelly roll and were able to select the applique pattern.

The Wedding Puzzle - My Grand daughter wanted black, white & burgandy for her wedding quilt and this is what I came up with for her.
