Sweet Treat Yellow Blue Road

Beachcomber - This is an original quilt I designed for a class I taught at a local quilt shop. It's a two block quilt with pieced borders. This is the third time I've made a quilt using this pattern and this one is destined for a friend who loves the beach.

Pinky Round Robin - This quilt was created by three of us in a Round Robin group, I am just getting around to quilting it!

Love Saves the Day - A bright quilt made during a dark NY winter.

Love the blues center detail - Center detail of an alternate color way for the TQS BOM. The center medallion is embellished with beads which just catch the light (although difficult to see in this photo) and reflect brightness like the sun glinting off of a lake or river. The beads add just the sparkle this needed. I love it!

Kool Kaleidoscope - I made this Kaleidoscope after watching Ricky's inspiring lesson on The Quilt Show.

Textured Landscape - The results of a Textured Landscape workshop held by Jennie Rayment.

Christmas Runner II - Yet another runner, for the dresser this time. I had a lovely bundle of Christmas prints arrive and just dove in.

Sherryl's Tulips - Pattern was changed from a 9 1/2 inch block to a 12 inch block

Sassy Stripes - Made as a wedding gift. Will make it's home on a red sofa.

Starstruck - Quilt made for my husband for our 20th Anniversary - Pictures of 1937 Chevrolets that he has restored incorporated in the quilt.

Party Quilt - This was a class that taught us a basic block that we then adapted to our own rendition of a "Party Quilt".

Sunset Dream - I have only just started quilting and thought I would have a go at the convergence quilt shown on the show by Ricky Tims. I spray dyed some fabric in orange and green contrasting colours and bound it in black

Circles - Made this at Jennie Rayment Workshop

Margaret - Hoffman/Sulky 2009 challenge quilt. Set in the mid 1920s. Inspired by a Dover Art Deco drawing (greatly changed). I designed the vases, the flowers on the dress and belt and redesigned a royalty free dog design and embroidered them from Sulky threads. The quilting is all free motion on a domestic machine. This is in memory of my mother in law who would have been in her early twenties about the time this scene is set.
