This bargello circle was made in a Quilt University class with teacher Ruth Blanchett.  The size is 54"X54", pieced and quilted, with a small medallion rose in the middle.

You're Turning Violet, Violet! - Attending the Ricky Tims Super Quilt Seminar in Livermore in 2008 and also inspired by Ricky's Quilt Show episode, I was intrigued by the process of making this quilt. I usually plan everything in advance and it was a challenge for me to "be suprised" and let the design happen. I really enjoyed the process of seeing it evolve. A very fun quilt to make. Thanks to the Show and Tell, it motivated me to complete it. Loved the process....thanks so much!

Kaleidiscope????? - From a class project in strip piecing - blocks were turned around to connect the greens -this was the idea of my son in law. Great colors can't get far away from GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An Irishman's Road to Home - We all know that an Irishman's Road to Home is never straight - always another bend! (Need to see what's around the corner) This is a flip/flop templet - something different to learn - fun!

Tech By the Numbers - Georgia Tech !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Jackets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A fun pattern. For a Sudoku fan and definitely a Georgia Tech Fan!

Vera Who????? - Pattern is from a Quilting Magazine - (which one -I will have to research and add later) This for a "grand-daughter" , a Very Bradley fan, just off to college. Great for the dorm and "In Fashion"

Pretty in Pink - Another Turning Twenty pattern used in my summer 2008 projects and it looks like there will be a few more in 2009. This one for a "grand - daughter" who loves pink (and shoes)

A Gerber Daisy a Day - One of several I have made using the "Turning Twenty" patterns. Easy cutting and assembly and it goes quickly and just changing the color combinations gives a totally different look. Luv doing quilt tops - so fortunate to have a long arm quilter nearby. Lori's birthday quilt - I won this fabric, not my usual choice ,youngest daughter fell in love with the quilt as I was making it, I said she could have it for her 18th birthday.

angel auction quilt back - This was made for a silent auction to raise money for Annalise Pelton, a three year old little angel diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer, and her family. I know it went to a good home.

Southwest Star Runner - Since my decor is southwestern I used southwestern fabric.

Crayon Challenge - My local guild is doing a crayon challenge. I got blue grey and navy blue. This is what I created for the challenge.

Magnolia - This was a Quilt University project for "Flower Power" by Susan Brittingham, Instructor. Since one of my favorite flowers is the magnolia, I selected it for my project. Photo of the subject is below the quilt.

Phillipa's Quilt - Traditional dresden plate block used to create a bold, striking design from a collection of black and white prints set on a vibrant red background.

View from my window - The wallhanging was inspired by Rose Hughes techniques. Was a challenge quilt, contains paper foundation piecing, fused applique and machine quilt.

Delayed Gratification - Planned to make this for the Hoffman challenge, but injured my hand and was unable to make it. Finally made it in 2009.

Birthday Party - Made for the Pueblo Quilt Expo 2006 Challenge using challenge fabrics and a Washington DC skyline panel purchased in Paducah in 2000.
