Name of Maker: john miller
Jelly roll 2 - most of top was completed at a one day jelly roll course in Weymouth. really like the colours and the triangular shapes. Took ages for me to get round to finishing it, but pleased with the outcome.

Name of Maker: John Miller
Cruise quilt - hand stitched patchwork. Machine quilted. Started on the balcony during a summer 2009 cruise around the Med. fantastic memories associated with the quilt. Really pleased with result as made up from scraps.
The Neverending U.F.O.
Name of Maker: Susan McFarland
The Neverending U.F.O. - I saw this quilt on Simply Quilts and started it in (I think) 2003. At that time the "Y" seam was WAY out of my skill level. I switched to a paper-pieced version of the same blocks. This quilt took me years to complete as the paper-pieced version of a lemoyne star is a little bit tedious. Worked out well because there's a bigger variety of scraps when you drag it out over so many years!

Name of Maker: Brenda Peplinskie
Jill - Fell in love with the quilts. I didn't have anyone to make them for at the time, but knew they'ld come in handy. I used Nancy Halvorsen fabrics.
Elegant Star
Name of Maker: Brenda Peplinskie
Elegant Star - I fell in love with this quilt. Most of the quilting on it is 1/2 inch apart. I was inspired to do this after taking a machine quilting course from Harriet Hargrave at the 2008 Vermont Quilt Festival. It was very intense and took well over a month to do. The first time I did a scalloped edge.
Country Village
Name of Maker: Brenda Peplinskie
Country Village - I did this quilt using mostly "dated" Thimbleberries fabric.
Future
Name of Maker: Norma Hornung
Future - no 4 in a series of four. It's waiting for quilting. It has taken me 5 years until I could make it. Picture will come, when it's finished. That's what I wrote last year (2009). Now after a lot of struggle it's finally finished. It's the worst quilt of my life. It has been troubling me since the design came up and it never stopped. At a point I was very near to give up and throw it away, but I gave it one more chance and now it's finished. I had it on my wall for 24 hours. A good friend saw it and fell in love with it, so she brought it home and it is now hanging in her clinic. She is a psychotherapist so a lot of people will get to see it there.
