Proud Heritage (aka Bailerin Linda)
Name of Maker: Patt Blair
Proud Heritage (aka Bailerin Linda) - My former student and now friend Margie Torrence was ' a while back' a professional Mexican folk dancer at the Padua Theater in Claremont, California. She showed me a full length standing pose photo portrait and I begged she let me interpret her in a wall piece of my own. Margie was such an elegant representative of her heritage. Starry night for Pip - Blue for a boy. Minimum quilting. If I had my time over again with this quilt I would definitely overquilt it. Only way to go.

Name of Maker: marit
Windy, Chilly, Breezy - The snowman panel which is the center of this quilt is Henry fabric of the same name. It is the first quilt that I machine quilted. Untitled
Name of Maker: Miles661ca

Jack, Shooting Star
Name of Maker: Peg Tomaszek, Tosca
Jack, Shooting Star - Baby quilt made for my nephew with Mother Goose fabric.
pentridge quilt
Name of Maker: john miller
pentridge quilt - This was the first quilt I ever made. I bit off far too much than I could chew, as I set out to make a quilt for a double bed. I hand pieced the centre panel, which took forever, then machine sewed strips around the panel so I could get it finished. I think it took a year from beginning to end. Pleased with the outcome, even if some of the patches are a bit wonky. On reflection, I dont like the colours and patterns that I chose on the material, but at least they match the curtains and carpet. didnt know about kaffe fassett material then.......
Crazy Christmas
