Name of Maker: Suewarby
Red Hunter - I wanted to quilt fancy feathers in the border but chickened out, think I am scared of my BSR what a wimp I am . Made for my Hubby who loves it anyway, I want to say a big Thank You to the person who invented buttons though of course the points are all perfect behind them !!!
Blowing in the Wind
Name of Maker: Ann Rowland
Blowing in the Wind - This quilt was started at Ricky's retreat (9/08) and finished in '09. It was an incredible journey of exploration of quilting and my own perseverence. I am thankful each day for the opportunity to make this quilt and the joy it brings me.
Name of Maker: Penny Raddon
"Raindrops - Made from scraps to try pattern. Decided to try something different for quilting. I couched yarn for the quilting. Given to a friend just recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Her comment was that the lap robe was full of hugs and good wishes.
Mary Dreams of Perfect Hair
Name of Maker: Kathy Garringer
Mary Dreams of Perfect Hair - This is my alter ego "Mary"(which is my legal first name). This was done in an amazing workshop by Lola Jenkins. It is the first in a "Mary" series.
Name of Maker: AuntSewsie
"Panic" - I named this quilt "Panic" because I had several mishaps along the way -- a great learning experience. I loved making this quilt so much and then had some fabulous quilting done on it by a long-arm quilter that I wasn't going to give up. I'm glad I didn't.
My First Quilt
Name of Maker: Colleen Anderson
My First Quilt - My first quilt. Tried different ways to make squares (strips, individual squares, multiple strips) and sew them together with different techniques. This is truly an experiment in quilting.

My Carolina Lily
Name of Maker: makesgeese
My Carolina Lily - "My Carolina Lily" quilt top is still a work in progress. I have yet to design the borders, not knowing where to start or what I want to do. But, I will figure it out...
Name of Maker: makesgeese
"My Geese Flew Around Provence" - Wanting to make a quilt that would be a challenge, I made this one using my collection of French Provence fabrics. It was challenge...and I am happy I made it.
North American Wildlife
Name of Maker: Marge Passalacqua
North American Wildlife - I use my love of machine embroidery in making my quilts. I also love wild animals and I have the best of both worlds in this quilt.
Shirley's Quilt
Name of Maker: Colleen Anderson
Shirley's Quilt - This is my second quilt. I created this for my mother-in-law with colors that best blended into her home. She has since then given it back.
Tucson
Name of Maker: Colleen Anderson
Tucson - This is my third quilt created for my parents when they retired to Oro Valley AZ. I used the mountain view from their window as inspirational colors behind each cactus. There are 5 different patterns of cactus each done in different greens. I used a twin needle to sew the ribs of each cactus.
Mary Ruhl's Quilt
Name of Maker: Carol Wilczek
Mary Ruhl's Quilt - I was attracted to the quilt Mary Ruhl displayed in our church quilt show several years ago, so I took a photo. Mary said it was her aunts quilt and it was quite old. With graph paper and the snapshot I figured out how to make each block from a fat quarter print and base fabric. This is the perfect UFO project because you can make a block every now and again when you find a cute fat quarter. My mom embroider-quilted the quilt. I'd like to add applique flowers and a scallop border...some day.
The Horse Lady
Name of Maker: Carol Wilczek
The Horse Lady - Machine pieced using pattern adapted from BQ - Maple Island Quilts by Debbie Bowls to accommodate Queen of the Ranch prints. I added fussy cut barrel racer print to complement theme. The dark brown squares in the inner border depict my daughter’s signature brand, THL for The Horse Lady. The quilting is primarily free motion using a Singer Quantum 9940 sewing machine. Red accent border includes barb wire quilting design. Red piping in binding was added for more interest.
My Wild Side
Name of Maker: Carol Wilczek
My Wild Side - Introverted, elusive, yet adventurous, capable and fierce. This portrait is adapted from a pencil drawing my daughter titled Tigress. I expanded the picture 200% and traced on water soluble stabilizer. The portrait is "drawn" with free motion thread painting using variegated threads. This portrait, like my home, is bordered and framed by the wheat fields of our family farm.
