Ode to Namatjira
Name of Maker: V Miller
Ode to Namatjira - I am so glad to have finished this quilt. It had been going very slowly, but when I started the quilting and thread painting, it just went! I don't think this quilt is going to go to a new home because I love it so much and can't wait to make another one.
Alex's 12 days of Christmas
Name of Maker: Denise M. Lareau
Alex's 12 days of Christmas - Did the 12 redwork blocks but wanted something different for a setting. Pieced blocks, enghlis paper pieced Hexigons.
Sturt Desert Pea
Name of Maker: Stephanie Pollard
Sturt Desert Pea - The quilt was inspired by a photo I had taken of the Sturt Desert Pea while on travels in outback Western Australia. The technique, which is totally hand-pieced and hand quilted was taught to me by a very talented quilt artist in my area.
Michigan State Spirit Quilt
Name of Maker: Nancy Thelen
Michigan State Spirit Quilt - My husband and I are big Spartan fans and I wanted a cool looking quilt to hand during basketball season.
Irish Chain Wedding Quilt
Name of Maker: Nancy Thelen
Irish Chain Wedding Quilt - I made this quilt for my son and his wife for their wedding present. I chose the Irish chain because Bruce proposed to Ellen while they were vacationing in Ireland.
Garden Party

Garden Party - My quilting friend accidently purchased two of this quilt kit. I bought her extra one and just love it!

Dragon Fire
Name of Maker: Nancy Thelen
Dragon Fire - I took the Dragon image from Needlesongs, enlarged it by 200% and changed the head to make it look fierce and blow out fire. I designed the quilt on EQ6.
Isabella's DIVAs IN TRAINING
Name of Maker: LADY RAGS
Isabella's DIVAs IN TRAINING - I won the guild blotto blocks and this is what I made with them. I added some fussy cut blocks from DIVA IN TRAINING fabric. I hand FAUX quilted the fussy blocks.
Love Bandit
Name of Maker: Judy
Love Bandit - This is one of three quilts I have made based on my favorite photo of my grand-dog, Bandit. "Rowdy's Treasure" ( picture in my profile ) was the first and it was sold at an auction to benefit an Animal Rescue Fund. What can I say, I love this photo. Bandit is now 13 years old and still just as adorable. He started my continuing obsession with dogs.
Wind on Autumn Leaves
Name of Maker: Jan Welch
Wind on Autumn Leaves - It is similar to a kaleiscope, except that there are 4 identical squares put together in different ways. I saw the leaf fabric and fell in love. The second colorway was an inspiration. I love the way the orange sets off the blocks.
Kaleidoscope #1
Name of Maker: Laura Jansen
Kaleidoscope #1 - The border was a mistake that turned out ok. The first one of three made from Ricky's great DVD instructions. Hangs in my dad's house.
Aron's Quilt
Name of Maker: Marilyn Nash
Aron's Quilt - Made for grandson Aron's 34th birthday coming up on June 14th. I have already given quilts to all my children and other 4 grand children so this completes my goal of making a quilt for all my children and grand children! Aron doesn't know he is getting a quilt but I asked him what his favorite colors are - blue, tan, brown - so that was how I determined the color scheme.
Fresh from the Garden
Name of Maker: Joyce Ferrie
Fresh from the Garden - Hand dyed fabric for the flower. Reverse applique.
Doodle Quilt
Name of Maker: Vicki Fridle
Doodle Quilt - This quilt started out as a project to learn foundation piecing. Somewhere obsessive behavior took over. The border is the doodle I do when meetings become much too long. I thought that it would give the eye a place to rest from all the string pieces.
Tandin 2010
Name of Maker: Amber Anderson
Tandin 2010 - Made for my great nephew. I like the monkey wrench block, but didn't want to mess with the tiny squares in the center of the 8" block, so I changed the one "arm". I like how it turned out.
Ella
Name of Maker: Amber Anderson
Ella - Made for my Great-niece.
