Oliver By The Pond
Name of Maker: Denise Cargill
Oliver By The Pond - This quilt was an entry to my local quilt guild challenge entitiled "My Log Cabin" I had a photo of one of my cats curiously walking around a pond that is in my front yard. I drew that cat using photo play techniques and appliqued him and several leaves over the log cabin squares.
Old World Santa
Name of Maker: Denise Cargill
Old World Santa - This quilt was made from Old World Santa BOM, however, once all the blocks are made you still have to make fill in blocks to make a square quilt top. This was quite a puzzle but still fun all the same. The pattern suggests making star and tree blocks but I got tired of making those so I designed the santa hat and candlestick blocks which makes this quilt a little different
