To Feel the Tingle in your Fingers - Our SINGLIVE choir performances are advertised as 'ordinary people - doing extraordinary things - in exciting places' I think this could also be said of the quilter's at Festival of Quilts!
Tulips in Sandy's Garden - This quilt was inspired by the tulips in Sandy's yard that were blooming. I selected different tulip photographs and printed them in black and white. Then I outlined the various pieces and parts to create the tulips. I then dug through my "stash"and started creating.
Parker's Quilt (front) - Toddler quilt made for a family friend. This is my first try using an "X-Block" ruler. Technique involves first constructing a traditional nine patch, then cutting with the special ruler which skews the block thereby creating the pinwheel design.
Delectable Mountains - I used purchased scrap packages and my stash to make the Delectable Mountain Quilt. The blocks were a UFO project for many years. I am so glad I finished the project and I love the quilt.
Gift to Mom and Dad - This was going to be a Christmas gift for my parents this year. When I got it finished, I couldn't wait to give it to them.....So they had Christmas in September!!! HA!
Gunnr II - Created from a photo image of our Dog, Gunnr. Neocolor II Watersoluble crayons were used to add the color. This was originally a plain, white piece of cotton fabric.
