Chaos in Pink
Name of Maker: Susan Griffith
Chaos in Pink - This quilt was in the American Patchwork and Quilting magazine several years ago and then I saw it in Sheila Sinclair Snyder's book. I made the quilt from the magazine pattern and I was so surprised to see it in the book. It was fun to make and nice to not have to add a border when I was done. Great easy pattern.
Baby W
Name of Maker: Kathleen O'Toole
Baby W - A Mom asked if I would create "a" quilt from the clothes her daughters shared as infants. Once we reviewed the bags and bags of clothes, we devised 4 quilts. Here is the first of the four. I did not have the heart to cut any of these beautifully sweet and endearing clothes so I left them intact, blanket stitched them down on corresponding fabrics and chenilled my seam lines! Outfits with snaps and buttons still open so Mom can run her hands on the inside remembering those precious moments when her girls will babies!

This particular year, a photo of all the children with the teachers was made available and used as the label on the back. Teacher's Pet indeed!

One our Mother's of Preschooler (MOPs) Mom's lost her husband suddenly, tragically. This quilt was created for a Christmas auction and helped raise money for our beloved MOPs sister and her small children! The money helped keep her and her children's life comfortable during a year long period. What a blessing a quilt can bring!
