Eleven Eleven Eleven
Name of Maker: Karen Boelter
Eleven Eleven Eleven - Piecing finally completed on Veteran's Day 2011. Project had been a UFO for years until, with Alex's suggestions at the Houston Quilt Show, I turned to fused, machine applique to finish the partially completed stumbling block center panel. Once that hurdle was overcome, the rest of the piecing went quickly. Sweet-16 sit-down long-arm arrived and this was the first quilt done with it! I especially loved outline quilting leaves in the print sections.
Bush Quilt
Name of Maker: Shannon (Labinski) Robeson
Bush Quilt - I had seen a photo of the design in a magazine and thought it was simple. Money was tight so I used curtains, table clothes and garage sale fabrics to put this together. I use this one every day.
