Transport for Silas - I left out the train signs and tracks and some of the vehicles, then personalized the quilt by putting local Ridgecrest names on the individual police and city vehicles and make one space a parking place for my grandson.

The client (friend of the bride) provided a photo of the bride's dock/boathouse/lake view and I created it in photo to fibre techniques. Hand dyed, hand painted cottons, fusible raw edge appliqué and machine quilting and thread play.

After The Fire - Self Portrait - This fibre art piece depicts the end of a journey through a challenging, successful, yet spirit crushing career as a female fire fighter.
Supernova - Paper pieced with over 2,500 pieces of fabric, 14 different black fabrics and lots and lots of hours. It took aproximately nine months to complete working several hours a day. It took three days just to cut out the fabric eight hours a day.
Quilt of Valor - This quilt has strips of fabric in red, white, and blue, with most of the starts in red, surrounded by a silver fabric. The bunting design around the border is in blue and white.
Actually a pillow - After a class by Cindy Needham, I was struggling with how to use this block stencil of hers and finally did it with thread painting on a pillow form. She said it was a totally different use of her "logo" and really liked it.
