Tullamore Field - Hand dyed fabric fused to foundation. Light amount of fabric painting applied to sun and trees. Backed and bound with commercial cotton.

Scrap Pillows - These are my first Embellished Pillows made from quilting fabric scraps using the Babylock Embellisher.

Yikes - This was made for the Hoffman chalenge. It was chosen to travel in one of the Trunk shows, it is currently touring the country. It was designed around a beauty block design, as I was sketching the bamboo leaves, the snakes just kind of appeared out of nowhere. Sorry about the quality of the picture, I will take a better one when the quilt gets home from touring.

Sushi Quilt - This is a quilt of my hot air ballon "Sushi". It was made for the people who made the balloon for me.

First Log - This is my third quilt and my first log cabin quilt.

Woodland Butterfly - Round quilt of mostly my hand dyed fabrics. Made with 10 degree ruler

Cat Flowers - I used Andovers Fancy Cat printed panels to frame with applique sunflower petals, the background is two different fabrics with lines radiating from the corners, (very subtle)

"A T-Shirt Story" - Well! at last count the boy had 65 t-shirts; therefore, this quilt was called for. With the cooperation of his family, I was able to pull this valuable and so meaninful array of t-shirts. The sashing is part of my two denim shirts I wear while in college. The cornerstone are from some favorite "boxers": SpongeBob was the inspiration behind the color scheme. As for the backing, flannel was in order. Dear JW, this one is for you. "Your" Grandma, ViVi

"Go Buccaneers Go!" - The border design is somewhat special; I used most of the fabric leftover, made strips and sown them all after the other to create the final patchwork look. This quilt was supposed to be my first machine quilted quilt...NOT! I did it all by hand, again... ViVi.

"You have my heart in your hands" - To my darling T.K., please accept a token of all the love I have for you. The title refers to her own hand shapes and a small hearts she drawn when she was 6. Being full-time RVer the quilt was started in Christmas, Florida and completed in Prevost, Qc, Canada. "Life is a ladder that need to be walk upward" - This was fun to make. The fannel was nice. The boarder was a new one for me, I used the continious "Young Oak courtesy of Hari Halner" design. It was entirely hand quilted but pieced by machine. This one was for P.S. Nichols, my first grandbaby, going on 18. Love you, ViVi

Les Tournesols - Continuing on with Jean Wells' beautiful flowers. The title means Sunflowers. Third Place at Quilts on the Grand 2006.

Challah Cover - It's my first original design, a challah cover.

Kelly's Graduation - Since I was a novice quilter when this quilt was begun in December 1995 for my daughter's May high school graduation, I did not know how long it took to quilt a King Size quilt. Nevertheless, it is finished for Christmas 2006 (and an upcoming PhD degree) and I loved every minute of working on it. Now on to a quilt for daughter #2!
