Fibonacci Quilt - Members of a group made the blocks after a Math and Quilt lesson by me! The Fibonacci series 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, was used to cut the squares to sew together.

Luminous Study - Luminosity study, journal quilt challenge

Family Hands (and Paws) - Traced family hands and paws. Used Steam-a-Seam to make two blocks, a positive and a negative. This is a great project for a group.

Tropical Rays - Inspired by photograph taken in Hawaii with the sun rays breaking through the leaves. The rays are foundation pieced. Quilted on an HQ-16 with numerous specialty threads, including bobbin couching of silk ribbon floss and Razzle Dazzle.

Mardi Gras Carnival - Mardi Gras Carnival is an "Opportunity" quilt, a quilt designed and made by a group of quilters to raise money for our local guild, The Foothill Quilters. We were inspired by Rachel Wetzler's award winning quilt, Fandango. Many thanks to Rachel.

Donna's Retirement Quilt - Reversible Quilt was made as a teacher retirement gift for my sister-in-law using fabric prints about Donna's life such as canoeing, nature, music, wolves, teaching, and many more aspects of Donna's life. Collage of photos for interior of quilt of family, friends, theater and dance groups, becoming a wolf nanny, teacher friends, trips. Photo is of quilt front. The quilt back is pieced of large pillow square blocks.

I SPY Quilt - Quilt made for great grand nephew Isaac born January 30, 2007. The yellow border helped make those fussy cut blocks pop. Very hard to see, but used a pantograph quilting pattern with each row with either solid or varigated thread A great to test new threads and pantograph patterns. I quilted a row of ducks, kitty heads, tractors, dinsauors, motorcyles w/eagles, tree/bear/wolf. The blue border I used the glow in the dark thread. My mother-in-law delived the quilt this pass weekend.

Happy Birthday Quilt - My daughter & I are selling these as baby gifts. We also have patterns with presents, one with balloons and one with part hats. We will personalize it with a name and date.
