"My Heart's at Sea" - I have wanted to make a Storm at Sea quilt for over 15 years and FINALLY took a class. As much as I enjoy nearly every aspect of quilting, this one was (and IS) very special to my heart. I LOVED EVERY MINUTE SPENT ON IT!! "THIS" one is my "Passion Quilt"!!

Wayne's Quilt - I made this quilt for my best friend, my husband. He passed away Jan. 1, 2000 he loved to sneak up behind me when I was quilting and watch. He would laugh and say "You just love to buy fabric, cut it into small pieces then sew it back together". I miss him so and I thank God I have my quilting and embroidery to keep me going.

Autum Sunrise - This is foundation pieced using the QuiltSmart foundations pattern. This was my 1st time using 100% silk and am very happy with the result.
Arturo's Stars - I made this for my nephew's 7th birthday. He specifically requested a red quilt.. I had already bought the blue robot print fabric with the intention of doing a stack 'n whack quilt. I immediately ran to my batik stash and found the perfect orange-red hand dye which I used for the stars' background.
Betty's Quilt - Quilt top originally pieced by Betty (Lisa's mom) who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's while she was working on this quilt top. Lisa asked me to rework the top because of the condition of the top and I agreed. I pulled the top apart and resewed all of the pinwheels. Then I added the original red border and pieced the outside border with leftover pieces of the original. Finally, I quilted the top after taking several machine quilting classes and doing several smaller projects. This was the first large quilt that I had machine quilted. Lisa's mom is in the final stages of Alzheimer's but Lisa has a quilt to remind her of her mom be fore the disease.
The fishbowl quilt - different fish in ea. bowl. Learned attic window technique with this. Ea. bowl is it's own world. The kitty is dreaming of fishing. 1 yr. quilting.
