Woodlands Wild Flowers - Applique Wild Flowers in the center panle with pieced work in borders.

Butterflies - I have a full size quilt that I inherited that appears to have been made in the 1930's but is unlabeled. I loved the quilt as a child but it is slowly falling apart. I decided to make a template from the appliqued butterfly and then created this tiny reproduction.

Four Seasons - Embroidered bird and birdhouse blocks one for each season. Each block is piped, borders & sashing stippled.

Dawn's Frogs - Dawn asked if I could make her a "frog quilt", and this is the result. At first I thought I'd make all the frogs out of the green background fabric, but quickly discovered how much fun it would be to make them all different and unique! I even used leopard fabric for the leopard frog. This quilt was just fun to make from start to finish. Debbie Allen in UT did an amazing job quilting -the quilting design is little frogs on lily pads!

My First Whole Cloth - This quilt is My First try at Whole cloth work, using Renaes Rays Rules. Facbric is all 100% cotton with Hobos Poly down batt. What FUNN!

No Name - I made this for a friend's first baby. This was the second quilt I made.

AMish Diamond - After Quilting this will be presented to a US Veteran residing in a Veterans home. Paper Pieced Center's, sashing and cornerstones are my alterations. Beverly True in Maine will quilt it.

Ginger - While stationed at Hickam AFB I wanted to create something memorable that related to the Hawaiian culture. I got involved with quilting at the Officer's Wives Club and made this Hawaiian quilt in 70s colors!

Pot O' Flowers - This seemed like a unique method - stenciling the design and then quilting it, so I tried it. It was quick and fun!

Scrappy Flag - I saw this done on Simply Quilts, Episode QLT-604 I created mine from the instructions provided at the Home and Garden Television website.

Blue Ice - John Davis selected the pattern, and his wife, Phyllis, selected the fabrics. It was made as a birthday gift from John to Phyllis.

Poinsettia - My daughter and I share a December birthday. I made this wall hanging as a combined birthday and housewarming present for her.

Rusty Wallace Race Day - Rusty Wallace was our grandson's favorite NASCAR driver. I designed around licensed fabric. The Sn'W block is to represent a spinning wheel. It is the only part that isn't entirely my design.

Lemonade Love - I made this for a friends daughter. I have two boys, I loved doing something girly for a change.

Grandma's Little Angels - I drew out a layout design on graph paper and then added angel pictures to fill each block. Some of the angel ideas came from a painting book by Jan Wray.

Keechi Cottage - Pieced and appliqued with flowers, vines and blackbirds around the border.

Walk on the Wild Side - I made this quilt at Freedom Escape - an annual Georgia Bonesteel quilt camp. Georgia challenged us to make original designs in the corners of our quilts and she helped me get the design sized correctly. I used minkee on the back to carry on the "furry" theme. I also left an unusual border rather than square it off. This is probably my favorite quilt.

Under the Florida Sun - Made as group project. Lighthouses and middle sailboat made by me. Other rows made by members of my quilt guild, according to my theme, "Florida life."
