Flower Power

Flower Power - I hand draw Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) and I used one of my cards as the inspiration for this quilt. This was a guild challenge. We each selected one fabric and cut it into 12 fat quarters. We had to use all of the 12 plus we could add one fabric. It was lots of fun and I won the challenge.

Stars and Bars - Challenge quilt, had to be black and white with another color. I started the center years ago to make a black and white quilt and made the center, while taking an online quilt class on borders. Never finished the class or the quilt. Now it will be done!
A Bouquet of French Flowers

A Bouquet of French Flowers - I received 5 fat quarters from a friend who purchased them in France. I decided to try this technique and completed the top in a week in December 2003. I started hand quilting and completed it in early in 2004 while recovering from my open heart surgery. I used Carol Armstrong's hand quilting designs.

Star - I made the quilt for charity. I used Marty Michelle's flying geese ruler and don't remember where the pattern came from. I also did all of the quilting by free motion, another skill I'm trying to learn.
Butterflies are Free

Butterflies are Free - I used a Kono Cotton jelly roll, brights. The butterflies and flowers are from Keepsake quilting and fused on the quilt top and blanket stitched by hand.
