Snuggle Up - The center is a panel by Leanne Anderson of The Whole Country Caboodle (www.thewholecountrycaboodle.com). I used Minkie fabric on the back. My granddaughter's name is appliqued at the top.

Pickled Geese - I didn't realise until after I had already completed much of the paper piecing that this is a pattern for an advanced quilter (which I am not). Lots of biased edges - ugh!

Dean - My favorite cat shelter asked me to donate a piece for their annual fundraising gala -- I adapted a photo of one of their many adorable felines.

A Holiday Fandango - Completed as a project for a Craftsy class called Precision Piecing by Norah McMeeking.

My First bed quilt - Single bed size, machine pieced, hand quilted

Dr. Who revisited - I enjoyed watching Dr. Who when I was a little girl. My daughter continues the tradition and is a lover of the new Dr. Who series. No better way to represent the show than a quilt of the Tardis, his spaceship. In the small borders I quilted her favorite quotes from the show. For the panels she picked her favorite characters, Rose Tyler, Dr. 1 and 2, a Dalek and a Weeping Angel and I quilted a free motion sketch of each. It was finally finished on the same day she got her braces off!

Time to Fly - The circles of illusion were pieced first. The quilt grew from a desire to push myself creatively and to leap outside my comfort zone.

Dreaming of Sri Lanka - Center panel is a hand-painted fabric purchased in Sri Lanka. Surrounded by batiks with beading and large hand-quilting.

My Trash to Treasure Pineapple - Ever since seeing Gyleen Fitzgerald's episode on TQS I wanted to make one of these. Last year was supposed to be my year to use up scraps and this was one of my projects. This looks like it should use a lot, but my scrap bins don't seem much emptier!

Anita's Kimono T - You'd be surprised to see the actual block. It's unrecognizable as a "T." My construction and cutting for the blocks is out-of-the ordinary.

Yellow Primrose - This quilt evolved over the last 6 months, finally coming together in December. Each panel was quilted and bound separately and then sewn together.

The Quilt with the Dragon Tattoo - I collaborated on an original drawing with tattoo artist Stephanie Noell Davis. The Chinese dragon with elaborate quilting motifs took one year to complete. It's a gift for her.
