Fireplace Ireland Quilt - This is after the fireplace in my mother's house in Erlough/Roundstone, Co. Galway, Ireland.

Genealogy Quilt - Memory Quilt showing pictures of family members and information printed onto fabric using Microsoft Publisher and Word. Picture of Sharp family bible and picture of family heirloom broach.

Underwater World - This started as an experiment to make a garden- but it looked like water and seaweed so I put fishes in it and started over on my garden.

Wonderful Garden - A group of quilters from Ladies of the Lake quilt guild made the blocks in the center section of the quilt for me from my some of my hand dyed fabric and commercial fabrics. I put them all together and added 2 side panels with thread flowers, felt beads and couched yarns and quilted it.

Aloha Kimono - This was a challenge quilt with the theme of"East meets West." It was inspired by a painting of a kimono that was hanging in a local restaurant. I won "The Best Theme".

I Found Nemo - Finding Nemo is my great nephews favorite. Cale was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor 8 yrs ago, he is 9 today, and doing wonderfully. He is a miracle child, incredibly bright and is my "Hero". He loves the quilt.

Twelve Days of Christmas - Quilt made from downloaded designs done by Marcia Hohn. Mostly needle-turn applique using cottons.

My Mom and Betty Boop - My Mom loves Betty Boop and she also loves Hawaii, so, lo and behold, Betty Boop in Hawaii fabric was perfect. I embellished a bit with origami flowers and beads.

Wings - Fabric collage of a fraction of a photograph, then matted and framed.

Patchwork Party 2006 - Block kits purchased from each of 12 participating online quilt shops, and then quilt finishing kit purchased from Sunshine Carousel. Quilted by online group-mate Marietta Shirk using a statler stitcher. Just finished today, 6/17/07!

Aspens - A scene taken from my own photograph of autumn in Wyoming's high country.

My Baltimore - Block designs were taken from Jeanna Kimball's books, applique'd and assembled in a traditional style. The border applique' is original but in Jeanna's style.

From Sadness to Joy - This quilt is made on a black cotton background, the colored pieces are cotton and Dupioni silk raw-edge applique accented with beading.

Mother of Us All

Blooming - A stylized "rose" is pieced with curved seams and surrounded by a green background. The hanging rod is a long stem silk rose.

Jebavy Santa - Jebavy Santa adapted from a pattern by In Sew Deep. I started this years ago but was unable to figure the pattern out. I took it out again in the summer of 2006. I finally finished Jan1, 2008! I call it "Jebavy Santa" after my husband who is 6'3" and thin. I added a paper pieced Christmas tree border.
