Welsh bluegreen/gold - A rather worn quilt that was used on a bed in Wales until recently. Stitching is still interesting, an all over pattern with wool wadding that really makes the quilting stand out. A very large and heavy quilt
Welsh strippy - A welsh strippy, as is usual, the quilting pattern does not follow the strips but is an all over centre medallion patttern. The quilting is very good, with many traditional patterns including cathedral window.
Welsh quilt green/gold - My favorite welsh quilt, lovely stitching, wool wadding so very sculptural, the designs are very traditional. A very heavy and large quilt from a house sale.
Can't see Santa for the Trees - This is the first quilt class I ever took. The first attempt will remain hidden in a drawer until my children find it. The second try turned out much better.
Pretty in Pink - A dear friend of mine and her husband recently adopted a little girl from Ethiopia. Since I can't be there in person to welcome her to her new home, I did the next best thing and made her a pretty pink quilt!
Scrappy & Happy at 50 - Designed on EQ5, I just started going thru the scraps! Many of the scraps in this quilt are from the quilts I made for my sister's 3 children.
