Consequence - After reading "Journal of an Art Quilter" I was truely inspired by Barbara Olsens designs and this is my interpretation of one of her designs. It is approximately 45" by 36" inches
Ompa Lompa - This was for my guild challenge for favorite movie. I really loved Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory growing up so I decided that this was one of the most recognizable characters from the movie.
Morning in Marin - This quilt always reminds me of the mornings I would go jogging in Marin County when I lived in California. The fabric was painted with dye then laid flat to cure overnight, I really like the watercolor like effect that was achieved
Dino Baseball - Duvet cover for my oldest grandson's birthday. His room theme is dinos playing sports. I adapted one block wonders and appliqued interior design.
Wedding Birds in a Rose Tree - This was my first applique quilt. It was made for my son's wedding and my goal was to have their picture taken on the wedding day. I saw an antique picture that inspired me. This was all hand appliqued and hand quilted.
