The Living Christ
Name of Maker: Jennilyn
The Living Christ - The reason I wanted so badly to do this Lenten Project and celebrate through quilting the coming of Easter is my belief in "The Living Christ" a document published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints telling what we belive about Christ Resurrected. It doesn't explain why we do not have crosses in the LDS churches, but gives a glimpse into what we believe and why Easter is a sacred holiday for us. Mormons are Christians! We just don't follow the Nicean Creed decisions defining God. (Ahh, but that would be another quilt!)
