Say It With Roses - This is a Sisters Choice block set on point with fussy cut roses in between.

Marine Memories - Made from t-shirts of places we boated with friends. Embroidered names of boats we traveled with. Marine motif fabrics. Made for our "boating mentor" who was also in the US Marines, so the title has dual meaning.

Raining Cats and Dogs - My first attempt at paper piecing. Made as a rafflle donation to my local Humane Society. All the plaids came from my stash. Almost a matching game, as there was a cat and dog made from each plaid, but not set together.

Spoolin' Around - A class from Tiger Lily Quilt Guild by Betty Wagner. I was always afraid of Y seams..this quilt cured me. Focus fabrics were blue and mauve sewing prints from my stash. Donated as a prize.

Sewing Tool Collectors Day - My quilt guild challenge for "Lesser Known Holidays" This represents Mar 26, Make Your Own Holiday, so I celebrated Sewing Tool Collectors Day - a quilt inspired by my fellow thimble collectors. I used almost 20 sewing motif fabrics from my stash to dress the ladies.

Hudson's Quilt - This quilt will go to my new nephew when he's born. It uses Karla Alexander's method of stacking, cutting, and shuffling. All the fabrics are batiks or hand-dyes.

Alex's guitar quilt - Quilt made for my son Alex for his quiet guitar playing support while I was sick.

The Buckeye Beauty - Made with several charm packs from the 2006 Moda fall collection and a stash of neutrals this was a fun and easy quilt. The quilting is done with by several styles, a freehand stitch regulator on my Bernina and quilting designs on the embroidery module, then the rest was done on a Brother using old fashioned free style quilting. Too bad the photos can't show the quilting.

Cute Kitty Quilt - Fussy cute kitties from a panel that is pieced and sashed with bright unexpected colors make this child's quilt fun. It is a gift to a friend's 16 month old baby who is recently diagnosed with cancer. Hopefully this quilt will brighten day!

Five Monkeys Jumping on the Bed - A quick and easy quilt I made for my granddaughter's visit to Canada. I also made a sock monkey to go with it.

First Nation - Alaska - Tims hand dyed fabric, eagle pattern purchased on Alaska trip with Ricky. Embroidered original design adapted from Sue Coleman water color print.

Gone Fishing - Bright and colorful fish in clear blue water, graduated pearls on the quilt for water bubbles

TeaParty - I had this collection of fat quarters called Chloe's Closet. When I saw this pattern in the magazine I knew it would be perfect. I've made it for a very special friend who has helped me through some really tough times lately.

Arabesque Garden - I took this class from Martine House at www.quiltuniversity.com. It is my first experience with hand quilting. It is hand appliqued and embroidered and embellised with shi sha mirrors and heat set crystals. I like machine quilting so much better. Currenty on tour with the Hoffman Challenge.

Festival - This is a medallion quilt with machine embroidery with designs edited from Designer's Gallery Interactives Dining In Lace software. It has 3,371,321 embroidery stitches on it.

Hummingbird Garden - This is a miniature quilt (about 8" x 10") made with a paper pieced block that was scaled down. It has hand Brazilian embroidered flowers of my own design. The latttice border is hand appliqued.

My First Quilt - Being a new quilter at the time, I didn't think twice about starting a queen size quilt!! Took me a while but it was worth it. I even tried to quilt it on my home machine--it didn't take very long for me to realize that I was fighting a losing battle : _ ) It ended up quilted by a longarm quilter!! It now lives on our bed!
