Nine-Patch Party Quilt - Made from fabric left over from my Delectable Mountains quilt.

Delectable Mountains with matching shams - Picture was taken when newly-made. Also made curtains, dust ruffle along with coordinating table runners and wall hanging using other Eleanor Burns patterns. Worn out by constant washing (cats sleep on it).

Americana - A small, scrappy, embelllished quilt constructed with leftover blocks and fabric from an earlier project, the only purchases being the binding fabric and the batting.

Acadia National Park - Simple design of center panel, squares, folded borders to highlight Northcott's Acadia National Park fabric. Gift to oldest step-daughter who was married there.

Interwoven - 90 inches x 90 inches

Well Done - Repeated block bender blocks give illusion of falling into a well.

Humpback - Water color quilt done from a photo of a humpback whale taken on a whale watching trip.

Batik Storm at Sea - I always wanted to see how laser cut kits were to sew, so this was my chance. Assembled while caring for my adult daughter as she recovered from a tonsilectomy.

Holiday Fun - Although I've been quilting for many years, this is my first real 'Christmas Quilt'. The first of my collection.

Convergence Experience - This was my first try at Ricky's Convergance technique. I used commercial fabrics from our LQS, along with a graduated pack of hand dyed fabric from Linda in Weiser, ID.

Millie Approves - No quilt is complete without Millie providing her approval. She could be sound asleep and as soon as fabric rustles, she's all over it like it was a bowl of milk!

Happy Birthday! - Completed blocks in 2005; they did not all turn out the correct size, so with a little tweeking I was able to set them diagonally. The quilt motif is similar to a motif in the beige background fabric. Batting is Warm and Natural 50-50 which gave the quilting nice dimension.

Folded Log Cabin - I took Donna Posters class on Foldy Stuff, where she teaches her technique of using muslin foundations to sew perfect log cabin blocks with a fold on each strip. The contrasting corners are sewn in some seams to create the "corners" that accent the diamond. This was the second quilt I made and I really love it.

Caitlin's Memories - When a colleague asked me to make a T-shirt quilt for her daughter's high school graduation, I was a bit hesitant because I didn't think it would be very interesting. We agreed on a price, and I set out to enjoy the process. Suprisingly ( to me at least), I did. I tried to find a way to incorporate all the T-shirt designs without looking too boring--then in the center, I decided some embroidery was appropriate. I included her name and the balls of all the sports she played. (obviously I'm guessing at the condition--it was going off to college with her)

Spring Tulips - This quilt is one of my favorite wall quilts. It uses bias strips for the applique. All the different colors of tulips came from one wonderful piece of batik fabric.

Runner #! - Simple runner to show off the print fabric. I made it as a choice for DMIL birthday gift.

Christmas on Thompson Farm - Door quilt for Mother's apartment shows Thompson family farm house in Logan Co., Illinois, with the family in a one-horse box sled going to Eminence Christian Church on Christmas Eve.
