Norwegian Stars - I took a trip to Norway this summer and in the city of Bergen I found a LQS. The owner, Kristin Bergljot Johannessen and author of Hooked on Triangles, was there. I purchased a copy of her book and made this quilt after returning home. What a lovely memory I have of Norway. This quilt pattern decorates the cover of her book.

Larger Than Life

Larger Than Life - I embroidered the 4 large snowflakes using my Bernina 170, then assembled the quilt per the directions and quilted it using decorative stitches on my sewing machine. The branches are sewn on, leaving about 1/2" on the edges to be trimmed and fluffed giving it a 3 dimensional look.
Ragtime Circle Quilt

Ragtime Circle Quilt - My 10 yr. old granddaughter, Kessley, chose the colors and design to coordinate with her bedroom. Then she sewed all the layers together using the Bernina circular embroidery attachment to sew on the circles. I sewed all the squares together and did the cutting to make it a ragtime.

Dee's Garden of Memories - This quilt was made from pieces/parts of a Flower Garden quilt found in my sister-in-law's late mother's sewing room. It had gone through 3-4 other people before I got it and finished it.
