Hannah's First - I can't remember the name or pattern but it is not my own and when I get to my patterns I will add it.

Grandson's - This was my 2nd inked face attempt (first was Celestial Greetings). I based this work on pictures of 2 of my grandsons. I used techiques taught by Lura Schwarz Smith, whose DVD on Inking Faces I purchased after seeing her on the SQ show. My daughter, their Mom, didn't like the big head on one, but he had a big head back then..not now.

Consider the Lilies - My quilt group helped me make these blocks utilizing a growing collection of red colored fabrics. The embroideries around the outside setting blocks have little wool circle flowers. Very fun to work with, very textural. Since this is a traditional quilt block, Carolina Lily, the name of the quilt is based on the bible verses from Matthew 6:28-29, "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Reminds us not to worry-God is in control!

Jumble - My first quilt top made all on my own not the best choice of fabrics or colors. It can be quite painful to look at, but it keeps me warm on the couch.

Star - This is the quilt I learned how to piece with. We had to add a boarder to try and make it square, as you can see it still isn't and will not even lay flat.

Fractured Chrystals - While watching Simply Quilts #636 with Linda Ballard, I simply loved her quilt. I changed the size of all the blocks and made my own version. Blue and pink with intense machine quilting. Fun fun fun!

Four Minis - This is a set of four 3.5" square miniatures. Saturated fabrics with silk ribbon flowers and bugs.

Ann Fahl BES - I pretty much followed Ann's pattern - complete with decorative stitching within the flowers and leaves. I then went and colored with heat set crayons to get the end result I was looking for.

My Bountiful Wreath - These are 3/8" finished squares. I must have been "mad" to make it... and complete it. At least I didn't count the squares. I made this quilt before the easy method of interfacing became known to me. Trust me... use the interfacing!!!

Gone Bug-zurk - This was my first attempt at skewed settings with a skewed border. I emboidered directly on the quilt top. "Fun" sums it up.

Michigan Hunter's Star - 24 blues and 2 yellows form a large star in the center and the Hunters Stars scattered over the quilt. Begun in a class with Jan Krentz.

String Heart - Baby quilt for Pine Ridge Reservation

Jewlia's Quilt - I just love bright colours.The squares were prepackaged and I added the two borders. This quilt was the hit of the baby shower. Mom won't let baby use it!

Batik Fish - This is the shower curtain in my bathroom. Note the Christian Fish at the bottom of the piece.

First Child - Virgnia's first quilt involved Dick and Jane fabric cut apart and framed. Quilting was done in variegated thread in circles.

For Jillian - Jillian and her 10 siblings each have a star with their names and birthdates embroidered.
