Jungle Song/Cat Flannel - I thought I'd try using flannel, gold metallic thread, decorative stiches, and embroidery with a cotton thery. pattern. After a ton of broken needles, this is the result

Makenzie's Quilt - I originally saw this design as a magazine ad for Coats & Clark thread and decided it would be the perfect baby quilt. I decided to use the fabric pictured in the ad for the background, along with fabrics from my stash for the pinwheels. Only after the quilt was finished did I find the book and pattern! A happy quilt for my Great-Niece, Makenzie.
A Quilt for Alex and Charina - A quilt to commemorate the marriage of my son and his wonderful bride. In keeping with their non-traditional personalities, I didn't follow the directions entirely and did not set the blocks on point!
Nothing Could be Finer than to quilt in Carolina - A theme challenge quilt nothing could be finer than to quilt in Carolina. Had to use Carolina blue and quilt had to be done in cocentric rows. I pieced a log cabin in the woods and placed in on a log cabin background and then the borders are pieced rows depicting why I love to live and quilt in NC. From the ocean to the golf courses to the mountains.
Grape Odysey- Aged to Perfection - I saw this quilt in a magazine and decorated my entire kitchen around it. Started quilt in 1997 finished it in 2001, thus the name aged to perfection just like a fine wine.
Poppies for Betty - This is my second whole cloth quilt, I love doing these. It was my very first attempt at McTavishing - what fun! I used acrylic felt for the flowers in the center. The center is a purchased stencil and the border is a combination of elements I made from the stencil.
Rothko - My first real 'art' quilt. (well my definition of art quilt!) Fabric painting, printed heat n bond and organza. I had a lot of fun making this!
crazy i spy - based on a free crazy patch from online i used novelty prints to make this for a friend's baby using bright colors and denim on the back to use as a playmat
Baby Quilt for Samantha - A really quick and fun baby quilt pattern. I changed up the setting a bit in 2 of the three quilts I made from this pattern to form a star in the center. These quilts were really well-received by the moms & dads!
