Mesa Rose
Name of Maker: Karen Mason
Mesa Rose - This quilt began as a table runner from a "Simply Quilts" episode. The table runner took on a life of it's own, and after many trips to the fabric store I had a throw that I REALLY liked. I love the colors and how the blocks work together. The points aren't perfect, but I credit this quilt with renewing my quilting enthusiasm.
Flower Power
Name of Maker: Jane Aldoretta
Flower Power - I love flowers. I also love collecting buttons and batik fabric. I reversed machine free-motion quilted this one which means I used the back (flower fabric) as my guidelines.

TQS BOM #2
Name of Maker: Bonny Smelser
TQS BOM #2 - I love these blocks. When I took my first picture my vase looked like a one-eyed monster (the design in fabric) So I proceeded to add some circles to change the design. After doing this and viewing my finished product - I no longer have to deal with the one-eye monster. Some things just deserve a change! Now I am on to my 3rd block and hopefully will stay on track.

This Ones For You
Name of Maker: Sarah Huie
This Ones For You - My daughter who I thought was not really interested in my quilting, announced to me one day that I had never made her a quilt and her brother had 2! Well, it was 4 months before her 30th birthday, so that was all I needed. She liked a One Block Wonder I had done in a workshop, so I made another one with octagons. If you've never done this, stick to the hexagons. And then I added borders to make it big enough for her bed. She loves it!
Romance of the Chickens
Name of Maker: LeAnn Harner
Romance of the Chickens - This original design was intended for the Black, White & Red All Over Keepsake Quilting challenge. We were given 6 fabrics and had to use at least 4. The rose fabric was orange, so I colored it with ink and fussy cut the roses. The beaks and feet were also painted. The roses formed a heart and just needed some ruffles – albeit of dots and checks. It didn’t meet the challenge size requirements, so I couldn’t send it in for judging. After quilting, I realized I didn’t like the background fabric by the chickens, so I cut it out, faced the openings, then added a background of black netting to support the quilt.
