New York Beauty - I had purchased this pattern a few years ago and during the blizzard of 2006 I was bored and started looking through patterns and decided to make this using my scraps. I have always enjoyed paper piecing and this was no exception. I had a lot of fun making this quilt. I have two requests to put in my will to friends. lol

Lots of Love to Laura - I made this quilt for my daughter who was leaving to attend USF in Tampa, FL, 2000 miles away from home. I wanted her to remember how many people loved her when she got homesick, which ended up being often. I machine sewed the family names in the heart and friends names throughout the body of the quilt. she loves it.

Snuggle Ducky - This was made for my goddaughter when she was born. I used three layers of flannel and my chenille cutter to create a 3-D effect on the center panel, then added more rubber duckies in the border print and used yellow dot Minkee for the backing. I used simple straight line machine quilting between the chenille rows and to trace the lines on the border print. This is apparently one of her favorite blankets to lay on.

June Jaeger's Team Ropers - I saw this wallhanging in Sisters in the summer of 2007 and knew I had to make it for my rodeo-loving, cowboy bar none husband.

Herbie, Round Robin - This was the result of a round robin project done by a small art quilt group to which I belong. We each contributed a base for a project, 18" x 11", with a theme... mine being a photo of my cat with his face basically done. Then each member worked on each piece adding to the composition with embellishment of some kind. Some were abstract, some more literal like mine. The photo is the end result.

SisterScape - This pattern was designed as the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Raffle Quilt in 2006. It has 72 New York Beauty blocks and I used over 60 fabrics in the quilt.

Girls best Friend - very basic block, great way to use up scraps. easy way to have the square on point giving it a diamond effect.

Amanda's Quilt - This is for my niece who graduates from college in May. She said her favorite color combination is black, brown, and cream. Voila! I hope she loves the quilt as much as I do.

Earth & Sun - Made because I just love anything to do with the sun... Then I discovered the beauty of iron-on Swarowski crystals!

IF...... - The Dresden Plate color wheel has appliqued and embroidered shoes that incorporated my guild's challenge fabric. Each shoe is stitched onto its complementary color. The quilt is one of 8 going to the Ultimate Guild Challenge AQS show in Nashville.

Fireworks - Made quilt in class taught by Alice Wilhoit. Used my hand dyed fabrics and black Fairy Frost.

Drunkards Path - all done by hand and calico was tea dyed.

Eileen's Windows - Aunt's miss cut became full size quilt. She for got to turn the window frame template over.

Opposite - Number 3 UFO "finished" mailed and hopefully received / only took 10 years

A Christmas Story - This was a calendar contest inspired by my all time favorite movie.

Star in the Window - I have all the pieced blocks finished, the medallion, almost to the finish line! This is a lovely pattern and a joy to work on. Will be sure to post when completed.
