Balls in Space - I made this quilt for a shop challenge.. we had to incorporate 2 fabrics that the shop picked for us. The black with the pink and orange stripes and the white with the pink and orange polka dots.

Rainbow stars - I had made a set of rainbow napkins for my sister. When I found this pattern at Road 2 CA quilt show I knew she needed a table runner to match - she is quite the entertainer - I, sometimes, jokingly call her Martha.

My Guest Room - This is a Queen sized quilt that I made. It was my first full sized quilt. I also made a bed skirt and pillow shams to match.

Curiositys' Rainbow - "Go Green" was a challenge to buy nothing new for a 5" square quilt. I went to my scraps and found cats and rainbows. I'd just watched TQS and it had a segment on curved pieces and so I tried it out. I added Swaroski crystals and rainbow thread fancy stitches to complete my piece.

Kitty Love - I saw this pattern on "Angie's Bits & Pieces," I became a member of her wonderful website (ajpadilla.com) for this pattern alone. I love it! Made for my girlfriend Judy, we do a monthly swap of a handmade, stitched or embroidered project, this was my Valentine swap mailed to her Jan 25, 2008. That's her kitty, Klink, posing in the picture :)

Fathers Day - I always give my dad a tie for Fathers Day. This was just a fun project!

Girl Power - Made for a strong little girl! =)

Leap Frog - Made for a little boy. he likes frogs=)

Till The Cows Come Home - Made for a lover of John Deere. It has basic block and a curvy cut block type too.

Winter Windows - This was a challenge quilt. We had to use the three fabrics that make up the centres of the windows in a quilt. All the edges of the windows were sewn down by hand (I took it along on our honeymoon to Mexico!) and then machine pieces the squares together. Hand quilted the border.

I'll get around to it. - My son had requested a black quilt with some red and white. This is the first time I used a sew in the round type effect.

Chintz Flowerbeds Wallhanging - Smaller version, wallhanging in our entry.

Chloe's - Baby Quilt? - This baby quilt is made with several Laurel Burch fabric, shortly after she died. The child who is getting it is adopted and has two Dad's with international backgrounds. A REAL Non-traditional family and Chloe's quilt is far from traditional.

Butterfly - I was going to Florida and wanted something to work on that wasn't too big. I pieced it in Fla. and when I came home I quilted it with embroidered butterflies

Spirit of the West - I took a class by Debbie Caffrey this past summer, based on using 2.5" strips ("worms"). I bought this pattern at the class, although it has nothing to do with strips. My husband kept asking when I'd finally make a quilt for our bed, and this is his answer. He wanted something really warm so I used wool batting for the first time, and am very happy with it. It is a bit puffy, but I don't mind.

Anne and Joe's wedding quilt - When I saw the Martha Pullen fabric I knew it was perfect for a photo wedding quilt for my daughter Anne and her husband. It was a Christmas gift the first Christmas after the wedding. It has the majority of her wedding photos on it.

Special Friends - I made this quilt for my preschool class to commemorate the first year of our inclusive program. My assistants cut the clothes from various fabrics and the children chose their outfits. The border was made using the children's handprints. It is the first quilt I ever entered into a show and won first prize in the Rookie division.

When Pigs Fly - As an Rn whenever mgmt . said they were going to do something ,staff would say "YEH when Pigs Fly".When I saw the material I was going to make a warm up jacket. It became a quilt instead.
