Cottage Garden - Saw this design in Simple Joys of Quilting and had to try it. The pastels are different that my usual, but I am really pleased with the results!
Pandas - I designed the pattern for this quilt using the new Giant Pandas fabric from Exclusively Quilters. Even though I couldn't make it to Quilt Market this year, my quilt was in their booth.
Looking at you looking at me - Isn't he fun?!! This is a very challenging foundation pieced pattern from the Quilts with Style magazine which is, sadly, no longer in publication. Since this photo, he has turned into a great, big cushion which sits and keeps lookout from my daughter's bed.
Remembrance 20th Anniversary - Made to celebrate Lisa & Alans 20th Wedding Anniversary, the pink is a piece of the dress I wore as their maid of honor. I'm such a packrat!
Autumn Leaves - Machine Embroidered Applique using my own hand dyed fabrics. The blocks are set ön point", and the edge and corner triangles are a commercial black with autumn toned leaves. The first and third borders are my hand dyed fabric also.
Pink Hand pieced Dresden Plate - The outside pieces of the dresden plate were sewn by hand. The centre piece was made and a circle pattern was machine embroidered around the edge. Gathered lace was placed under the centre circle before sewing onto the bottom piece. A button was sewn in the centre.
Hand Dyed Flower Quilt - Machine Embroidery and Machine Embroidered Applique techniques are used in this quilt. I have used my own hand dyed fabrics together with black . I have added buttons in the sashing blocks.
It is backed with Polar fleece.
