Blue and Yellow Wallhanging - This was the second quilt I made. I took a quilting class that taught me hand-piecing and hand-quilting. I love the wall-hanging but quickly decided hand-piecing was not for me.

My First - This was my first quilt. I took a class at a local quilt shop. I used the feather stitch to quilt it in the ditch. My cats, Bonnie and Clyde, have inspected the quilt and given their approval. :)

Brayden's Kitten Quilt - This was made for my best friend's daughter when she had her first child. The quilting was done while button-hole stitching the applique pieces on and doing some zigzag stitches to make the "grass".

Emma's Joy - This is a baby-gift for my friend Kim. When my son was born, Kim made him the most beautiful hand-knit sweater and hat! So, I wanted to make a hand-made gift... I'm really happy with how this pillow turned out.... it was a lesson in "happy accidents" too.... that 3-d center pinwheel "patch" is covering a mistake... I was working on putting an ornate "E" in the center, but had problems.... I kind of love this solution....

Pursuit of Happiness - This was my final project for a class I took at Quilt University taught by Myrna Giesbrecht. They no longer have this class so I feel fortunate to have taken it when I did. It was a class called Points and Curves. I had been trying to learn this on my own but she helped me take it to a new level.
