Henry's I Spy Quilt - I made this quilt for my niece's first child, Henry. I have been collecting train fabrics for some time as my adult son was fascinated with time as a child. I wanted to make my future grandchildren a quilt with trains.
summer breeze - My mother started this quilt at 30-40 years ago. After my mother's death I carried it around for a while and finally added the boarder and quilted it in 2008.
Brilliance - A Jinny Beyer design using her fabulous border fabrics. The star requires 14 coordinating fabrics - a great shop hop project! Paper piecing makes it an incredibly easy quilt with outstanding results every time!
Mesquite & Mountains - Inspired by the view from my brother's backyard outside of Deming, NM. Photographic reference was taken by our sister, New York photographer Joan Penn.
Babysaurus - Pieced circles using Dale Fleming/Alex Anderson's technique. Circles were a breeze to make, but I used starch on first step instead of glue. Embroideried applique designs from Embroidery Library. All over quilting design of dinosaurs.
Dad's Cherrywood Quilt - This quilt was made as a gift for my father for his 75th birthday! I used all Cherry Wood hand dyed fabrics. They look like suede and quite manly in this color way. Perfect for Dad.
