Thangles Friendship - This little kit was purchased in Kansas and put together in a weekend at a "girlfriend" retreat. I had enough extra triangles to make another doll quilt.
Plum and Sage - This was the Hands of Friendship Quilt Guild block exchange. Each participating member made 29 blocks the same and exchanged them. I framed, set each block, and made more.
Jenni's T-Shirt Quilt #1 - This is the first of four t-shirt quilts I made for my daughter's graduation. It weighs 15 pounds! This combines t-shirts and denim parts, set with denim.
Jenni's T-Shirt Quilt #2 - This is the second of four t-shirt quilts I made for my daughter's High School graduation. The shirts are set with batiks and use parts of jeans, too.
Tennessee Waltz - Our mini guild held a weekend retreat at one of the gal's condo in Branson, MO. We each worked on our individual quilts and had a ball.
Tea Time and Roses at my Cabin - This quilt was made for a challenge in my small quilting group, the Tea Time Quilters. It was a semi-finalist at Paducah in 2005 in the First Time Entrys catagory.
Snow Dance - This quilt won Best Workmanship at the "Winter Wonderland" show at TAQS in early 2007, and won an honorable Mention in the Digital Imagery catagory at the IQA show in Houston in 2008.
Kona Mountains - Quilt was made while taking a class from my friend and marvelous Australian quilter Faye Cunningham. Faye has a very interesting technique for making Delectable Mountains that makes it one of the quickest quilts I've ever done. The fabric for the Quilt is all Kona Bay Sateens and is really lustrous and beautiful in person.
Square Lollies - From a fabric group called Chocolate Lollipops hence the name "Square Lollies" , just played around with the fabric till I found a block I liked.
Prairie Twister - I had seen a picture of this quilt and drew it up in EQ5 and made it to hang in my husbands office (he works for a seed association) and "Canadianized" it's name with "Prairie Twister"! I didn't enjoy working in "black" but it really does make the colours stand out in this quilt.
Provence - My husband wanted a quilt for his Birthday. As we were in Provence on vacation I picked up a magazine and I found some pictures from fields and I thought this is it and I made this quilt for him.
Dream Houses - Got a very nice book from friend -Patchwork Quilt from Keiko Goke and I used the idea and designed this quilt in my favorite colours as usual yellow.
Tropical Blue - My daughter wanted to use the blue hawaiin print in a quilt, so then I had to work out a way to incorporate it. The small squares are just 4". No pattern used, just kept trimming until they all fitted.
