Debbie's Sampler - Quilt made for my sister-in-law birthday. It is the first sampler quilt I have made and i am very pleased with the result, the recipient loved the quilt.
Lavender Sky - I started collecting fabrics to make this quilt in 2002. I purchased the fabrics at various quilt shows and shops. The wait was worth it i think i love it.
Linda`s pinwheels - The quilt top was finished a year ago but did not have a large enough table to baste it. A few weeks ago I went to home depot and got an 8'x4' wood and made a folding table out of it. Now I had a large enough surface to tape the quilt backing down and pin baste the layers. Just finished it last night.
Amanda's Journey - This is a quilt I made for my niece as she was going to college. Due to time constraints it is tied, not quilted. This was the first big quilt I ever made.
Close to You - Used the convergence pattern and made it tropical with all the bright color's, The parrots are always close to each other, and in love. There are parrots in all the leaves as well. It was fun. Like it all is.
Fairies in the Garden - Our Guild Challenge was to use the deep orange/rust fabric, with the theme "Flights of Fantasy." I sewed fairy charms on front. Each flower has embellishment: beads, thread, etc.
Rocky Mountain Thorn Bush - This was started in a 1 day class taught by Judy Niemeyer held at a local Denver quilt shop in 2005. I finished the top the summer of 2006 and had it long arm quilted.
Sam's Baseball Quilt - Center adapted from the the pattern "Baseball Fans" published in the winter 2004 issue of Quiltmaker's All Time Favorites. Changed baseball glove from a paper pieced fan design to an applique using the glove he used as a base for the pattern. Baseball is also applique. Added name block - used Carol Doak paper piece pattern for the letters.
Christmas Kaleidoscope - 4 patch Kaleidoscope cutting technique. Traditional Zig Zag or Bolt of Lightening on point setting. The quilt is being displayed at EQS guild meeting.
Serenity - This book has so many pretty quilts it was hard to pick just one. This quilt designed by Helen Frost was my first choice because it was small, could be completed quickly, and I liked the appliqued triangles in the border.
