T-Shirt Sampler Quilt
Name of Maker: Melanie Watson
T-Shirt Sampler Quilt - This is a sample quilt I made of T-Shirts purchased at AmVets. I wanted to go into the business of making custom quilts for people as a side job. Midnight In The Garden
Name of Maker: Kathy Miller
Midnight In The Garden - This is a table runner. Original pattern called for butterflies. Since this was a present for my sister, I changed it to dragonflies (her favorite). Thirteen
Name of Maker: Karen Levine
Thirteen - This quilt was made to honor my niece's Bat Mitzvah. It is made up of 13 starts that are fused and stitched with decorative stitching. It is made of batiks and really reminds me of something a 13 year old would love. She has it hanging above her sewing machine in her bedroom. Hopefully, it will inspire her for years to come.
Santorini Dolphins
Name of Maker: Liz Neil
Santorini Dolphins - I bought the center panel on the Greek island of Santorini while on a trip with four girls from my daughter's high school graduating class. The piece of material was actually sold as a lightweight wrap or shawl, but for the price I thought what a great buy for about 2 yards of fabric! I merely added the borders made from some neat batiks and gave it to one of the girls from the trip who was going to be my daughter's roommate in college.
Seams There's Danger Ahead
Name of Maker: Judith Kreiger
Seams There's Danger Ahead - The background of this quilt started in a workshop in my local quilting group using a rotary cutter with no ruler as a guide. After sewing the pieces together it looked like an underwater scene, and the design progressed from there.
Bethany's Desire
Name of Maker: con8487
Bethany's Desire - This young lady wanted a quilt silver and navy. It was difficult to find materials w/navy and silver and some with other tones of blue and silver. I saw the quilt made up on this site so I emailed the seamstress. She shared the pattern with me. The quilted pattern in the navy square is the Celtic Knot done with silver thread. Kristi has designed a template for long arm users that is now on the market. This was the first quilt she had used it on. The navy border has silver crosshatch with a Celtic Knot in the center and on each end. This was a difficult pattern with the few instructions I had to make it. It took me all winter sewing on it when I wasn't working.
All the colours of the Winebow
Name of Maker: Sharon Wellington
All the colours of the Winebow - Small quilt to use up scraps of material, I am still a novice quilter, so it was good practice for me before I get more ambitious!
Saturn
